Waterfowl Hunting Season - Rules for Hunters and Property Owners
As part of our outreach to local
property owners and hunters, we are posting a waterfowl hunting guide.
For many years waterfowl hunters have frequented the shores
of lower Green Bay, and this sometimes results in conflicts between
hunters and homeowners. This guide is intended to raise
awareness of both hunter and landowner rights and responsibilities
under the current law.To view the guide as a PDF, click here, or click the photo to the left.

Awards. The Wow! Awards is a way for citizens to let the Green Bay Police Department and the rest of the community know when they have received excellent customer service from a member of the Green Bay Police Department.
Green Bay Police are modeling the strategy of the Merseyside Police Department in the UK.

My Neighborhood Update - Police Call Mapping Program
As
part of our ongoing community policing
efforts, we have partnered with a police call mapping website called
www.myneighborhoodupdate.net.
This website allows citizens of Green Bay to access police
calls for service in near real time. Data is usually
available within a day or two of the incident. The site will
then place a marker on the Google street map showing the location of
the call, the type of call, and the approximate amount of time that was
spent working that call. The larger the size of the pinpoint,
the more police resources were utilized on that particular
call. The site also allows users to zoom in or out on the map so they can view data as general or as specific as they want. For example, one could zoom into a 3 block radius of their home to view just the calls in that area. Another section allows users to specify a start date and end date so they can decide if they want to see calls for one month, or one year. Lastly, the site will also display a trend chart for that time period so users can see peaks and valleys of call volume over time.
