Find Your Police District

Effective January 3, 2012, the Green Bay Police Department  transitioned to an Intelligence-Led Policing Model.  Intelligence-Led Policing is a data driven, community oriented policing model that will break the city into 4 districts, and dedicate resources to each district.  By assigning officers to a specific district, they will get much more familiar with their district’s citizens, businesses, and chronic issues.  Each district will be overseen by a District Captain and three district Lieutenants.  They will supervise the work of a dedicated team of officers and community police, responsible for addressing the underlying causes of crime and chronic nuisances in their district.  This will further enhance our ability to provide service through a partnership with the community that builds trust, reduces crime, creates a safe environment, and enhances the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
