Investigative Division Values Statement
Investigative Division Commander Thomas Molitor The role of the Investigative Division is varied. The main function is to gather evidence, identify and apprehend suspects, prepare cases for prosecution, and recover personal property. The role of the division goes beyond that. It involves education and prevention through the Police School Liaison program, Crime Prevention Unit and Community Liaison. There are a number of programs within the investigative Division, including Police School Liaison Officers, Crime Prevention, Street Gang Officer, Evidence Technicians, Hispanic and Asian Community Liaisons, and the Identification & Forensic Services Unit (IFSU).
