Green Bay Police Department Police Memorial Page
This Page is dedicated to all Wisconsin Police Officers who have made
the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting the citizens of Wisconsin.

When a law enforcement officer dies, other officers wear the black mourning band over their badge in a sign of respect and mourning at the loss of their brother or sister.

The Green Bay Police Department, 307 S. Adams Street.

This symbol of grieving is generally worn until the funeral for the slain officer has been conducted.  Flags are also  flown at half mast  during that time.

This is where the Annual Commemoration of National Police Week is held.
This event is sponsored by The Blue Light Association
