Traffic Enforcement Unit Mission Statement

The Traffic Enforcement Unit was created to generate voluntary compliance with the traffic laws so necessary to promote public safety. Safe and efficient transportation of people and property is essential to maintain and enhance the quality of life in our community. To provide for the safe and efficient system of transportation, the Traffic Enforcement Unit uses research, education, and enforcement tools. The Traffic Enforcement Unit works with the community to identify and eliminate traffic hazards and to resolve traffic complaints.
