Used motor oil is a hazardous substance that requires special handling. Used oil should not be put in the trash and should never be dumped in sewers or household drains.
Drop Off Locations
The City of Green Bay has two 2 drop-off sites at both City garage locations for:
- Gear Oil
- Hydraulic Oil
- Other Lubricants
- Power Steering Fluid
- Transmission Fluid
- Used Motor Oil
- Waste Engine Oil
These public sites are open 24 hours a day to residents. You must empty your oil into a tank on site and discard the container properly.

- West Side - 519 South Oneida Street (use entrance on Redwood Drive off of West Mason Street)
