What is your favorite thing about teaching dance? I love being able to share my passion with my students, hoping that the same passion ignites in them. Feeling music flow through your body, and then using your body to express that is amazing!
Why do you love Green Bay Park and Rec Dance? I love being a part of Green Bay Park and Rec Dance, because it is my second family. When I originally started teaching, I only planned on doing it for a year or so. I couldn't imagine not spending my fall and winter dancing, and I plan to continue for many years to come.
What is your favorite style of dance? My favorite style of dance is tap. To me, there is no better way to express yourself than the click of taps on a floor.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: I am married with three kids and two granddaughters. I work full time as a legal assistant, and am also getting my Master's Degree in Criminal Justice online through UW-Platteville. In my down time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports, baking, and going to our family cabin up north.
Is there anything else you'd like to add? Green Bay Park and Rec Dance is a great program for kids just starting out, to see how they feel about dance. It is a great program for kids that have been with us for a while to keep working on new skills. It is also a great program for kids that have been with other studios, and maybe gotten burnt out by multiple classes/competitions, but still want to just dance and have fun. Green Bay Park and Rec Dance is for anyone!
